Tony Ferretti, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist specializing in helping professionally, successful clients achieve work-life balance and manage interpersonal problems and conflicts. After two decades of working with top leaders, Dr. Ferretti recognized that the very same traits that took his clients to the top of their careers often took their relationships over the edge.
Sharing his wisdom and expertise, Dr. Ferretti has helped countless high-profile clients wake up to the addictive nature of power, control, and success and learn to cultivate balance in their relationships and life. An active blogger, sought after public speaker, and seminar leader, Dr. Ferretti has made numerous media appearances including the Dr. Phil Show and hosted his own weekly radio show “Talk to Tony,” for nearly two years. Dr. Ferretti turns on audiences and tunes them in to potential problem areas in relationships along with offering practical solutions. His exciting new book, “The Love Fight: How Achievers & Connectors Can Build a Marriage that Lasts,” released December 2014, capsulizes Dr. Ferretti’s unique practice and clinical experience.
Dr. Ferretti holds bachelor’s in Psychology and master’s degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University at Albany and received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He continues to maintain an active clinical practice in addition to his busy speaking and teaching schedule. His engaging, yet direct and no-nonsense approach to therapy has yielded good results even with challenging and resistant patients.
A high-achiever himself, Dr. Ferretti “walks the talk” seeking balance in his life and keeping his priorities in a healthy order. As an avid runner, Dr. Ferretti has completed two marathons and considers exercise to be his own “personal therapy.” His faith in God keeps him centered and focused on healthy priorities in life. He is active in his church through teaching, leadership, ministry, and mission work. Happily married for over twenty years with three children, he lives and practices in Central Florida.
